Korie Lucious, a junior on the Michigan State basketball team, was arrested early Monday morning on a charge of operating while intoxicated, according to records obtained by The Detroit News on Tuesday.

In a text message to The Detroit News Sunday, Michigan State coach Tom Izzo gave little indication of his future plans.

“Coach Izzo made me aware he is meeting with Cleveland,” MSU’s athletic director said in a statement that was e-mailed to The Detroit News. “The details of any meetings are between him and me.”
